Getting Pre-Qualified for a Loan
The mortgage and financing process should not be feared or uncomfortable. I highly recommend that you use a financial institution or mortgage broker that you already have a professional relationship with or that your Real Estate Agent recommends. This will help insure that you obtain the best rate for your current financial situation and that you will receive the customer service that you and your transaction deserve.
The first step should be taken by establishing communication with your lender. It is also recommended to “shop around,” talk to several lenders. This will require you to communicate certain personal information. It is important to note that a lender is unable to give you a TRUE quote without running your credit score by means of your social security number. In addition to communication with your lender continue to communicate your progress with your Real Estate Agent. It is important that you, the lender and I are all on the same page.
It is my job to orchestrate your transaction and I am able to do the best job for you when I am included in your loan progress. Once you have chosen your desired lender simply follow their instructions and try to deliver the necessary information required in a timely manner
